About Shanglish

Hi guys, Shannon here. Kudos to all my students for signing up to study English at Ondas Formación. Throughout your course we will be speaking, listening and communicating our way to language learning bliss. The Shanglish Blog will serve as a classroom tool and conversation starter. Originally from California, I moved to Madrid in 2007 with the intention of staying for one year. Since then, I have been lucky enough to teach students aged six to sixty, people from all walks of life, from all over Spain and from all different levels of English. I have worked in public, private and charter schools, trained bilingual teachers in the Community of Marid, been an Official Cambridge Examiner and initiated the English Department here at Ondas Formación. I am passionate about teaching and absolutely love helping my students achieve their language learning goals.
